As we look back on 2022, we are celebrating a year of milestones for our open gaming metaverse. In many ways, 2022 has brought us closer to our vision of an open, decentralized metaverse that empowers creators through true digital ownership. While we roll out our vision for 2023, we felt it was important to look back at what we have achieved together with our community. Here are a few highlights: |
- Welcomed over 1 million unique players over 2 gaming seasons
- Launched a diverse range of experiences: 98 in Alpha Season 3
- More the doubled registered wallets to 4.5 million user accounts
- Launched 35+ collections of interoperable Avatars and released 6 own Avatar collections
- The Game Maker got major upgrades and was downloaded close to 1 million times
- Developed our Marketplace further with 1,521,295 copies of 3,224 ASSETs minted by our creators
- Provided over $12 million in funding to creators through Game Maker fund
- Grew the ecosystem to +700 individual creators. studios, and agencies
